You may remember Kno, the company trying to sell students on their massive dual screen tablets. Well, according to All Things D, Kno is in talks with two different consumer electronics manufacturers to sell off their hardware business so they may focus entirely on software. If you have one on order, it might be a good idea to cancel.
The Kno tablets ran for $599 or $899, with the lower of the two being a single screen device, and the higher price was for the dual screen tablet. Kno has shipped several hundred pre-orders o far, but those shipment seem to have stopped. Those familiar with the situation say that Kno has decided the rapid uptake in other tablets has left little room for their integrated hardware and software solution. �...
