Just What We Needed Google Instant Search Is Saving the World 11 Hours Every Second

If you use the Internet, youve probably been wowed by the wonders of Google Instant.

But you may not know the exact source of that wow factor. According to Google, a typical searcher takes nine seconds to enter a query, and another 15 seconds searching for answers. Googles new Instant Search aims to shave two to five seconds off each search, using predictive text and instant results.
