Worker Transocean BP argued before blast Gulf oil spill

There was a "skirmish" between BP and Transocean staff about whether to proceed with a procedure shortly before the Deepwater Horizon explosion, the rig's chief mechanic says.

Massey Energy CEO Safety Rules are Nonsensical

Don Blankenship, CEO of Massey Energy, complained last year that it is very difficult� to obey nonsensical� safety rules.

On April 5th , 25 miners died in an explosion at his Upper Big Branch mine in Montcoal, WV, which had racked up thousands of safety violations.

Blast in Moscow metro kills 25

At least 25 people were killed in an explosion that rocked the Lubyanka metro station in central Moscow on Monday, Itar-Tass news agency reported.At least 10 people were wounded in the blast, it said, quoting the Emergencies Ministry.
