A non-profit coalition of mainly liberal economists is planning a conference (Thinking Big, Thinking Forward) to argue for a bailout of around $1.2T, and has invited Vice President Biden to give the keynote address.
No word yet if he will accept. This is no fringe group " it is headed by John Podesta, an influential Obama adviser.
