GOP Got Cops To Delay Palin InLaw Drug Arrest Until Election

The Republican party was able to manipulate Alaska law enforcement to hold off on arresting Bristol Palin's future step-mom's on drug charges until after the election.

Is this legal? I can only imagine if Obama or Biden did such a thing that the GOP would be calling for their heads.
