Kentucky is trying to seize the Internet domains of 141 offshore online poker/gaming sites, claiming they are unlawful.
As these sites are not based in the U.S., and as these sites are legal where they operate, this forfeiture action has broad Internet freedom implications. On Friday, an appeal of this action was heard by the KY Court of Appeals.
