Wisconsin politician argues Arizona not a border state

"If this was Texas, which is a state that is directly on the border with Mexico, and they were calling for a measure like this saying that they had a major issue with undocumented people flooding the borders, I would have to look twice at this.

But this is a state that is a ways removed from the border," West said.

St Louis Mayor DuctTapes Mouth for Gay Rights on Census

"The fact is that few federal surveys record any information whatsoever about LGBT people," said St.

Louis Mayor Francis Slay this week. With duct tape over his mouth, and "NO H8" written on his left cheek, the 54-year-old straight politician appears to be smiling behind his statement.
