More Couples Putting Off Divorce Until Economy Turns Around

With housing values depressed and jobs disappearing, divorce has become a luxury beyond the reach of some couples.

There is often not enough money to pay for separate households or to hire lawyers, fight over children and go to court.

White House Prepares For 2 Possible Supreme Court Vacancies

Lawyers for President Obama have been working behind the scenes preparing for the possibility of one, and maybe two Supreme Court vacancies this spring.

Court watchers believe two of the more liberal members of the court, Justices John Paul Stevens and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, could decide to step aside.

Lawyers warn of 75 exodus out of the UK

The UK could face a large scale exodus in the coming year as wealthy individuals search for ways around the planned rise in the top income tax rate to 50 per cent in April, according to a poll by international law firm Withers.
