Four U.S.

Senators are pursuing legislation they believe would fix the "mistake" President Obama made with the man who allegedly failed to blow up a Christmas Day flight into Detroit. That "mistake" was treating him like a serious criminal, tossing him in jail and planning a trial.

White House Adviser Briefed in October on Underwear Bomb Tec

White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan was briefed in October on an assassination attempt by Al Qaeda that investigators now believe used the same underwear bombing technique as the Nigerian suspect who tried to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on Christmas Day, U.S. intelligence and administration officials tell NEWSWEEK.

Dutch to use full body scans for US flights

The Netherlands said Wednesday it will begin using full body scanners on all passengers taking flights to the United States, following the attempted terrorist attack on a U.S.-bound flight on Christmas Day.
