Verizon testing 70 smartphone plan to rival Sprint ATT

Verizon upped the competition in smartphones today with a new plan that could put pressure on most of its rivals.

The Talk and Text Plus Data Promotion is a virtual match for Sprint's Everything Data with 450 minutes of talk time, unlimited texting and unlimited on-device data for an identical $70. It only lags Sprint in still limiting unlimited voice to other Verizon phones but costs $20 less than what it would normally cost with Verizon and $15 less than what AT&T would charge....
