Officer condemned by Obama says he wont apologize

In the absence of evidence, Obama was very quick to believe the charge of racism and condemned the police for "acting stupidly".

Sergeant James M. Crowleys police union issued a statement saying it had reviewed the arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr.and expressed full and unqualified support for Crowley's actions.
