Jimmy Carters solar panels help power a Maine college
You may not remember this but in 1979, President Jimmy Carter installed solar panels on the roof of the White House West Wing.
But in 1986, President Ronald Reagan took the solar panels down when the White House roof was being repaired. They were never reinstalled.

White House already backed away from DADT repeal in February
A blockbuster story in the Advocate reveals that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina already started backing away from the President's promise to repeal 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' only days after the President promised to repeal the anti-gay law this year in his State of the Union.
Gay groups were present at the meeting, said nothing.
