BP may get tax refund because of oil disaster expenses

BP spokesman Steve Rinehart told Bloomberg News that BP will deduct the $3.5 billion already spent on cleanup efforts and any future expenses:

"Taxes are paid on profits.

If our profits are down due to increased expenses such as the cost of responding to this spill, then it follows that our tax bills will be lower as a result."

AlQaida thug sets peace conditions with US Obama reaction

Al-Qaida's American-born spokesman has repeated the terror group's conditions for peace with America, calling on President Barack Obama to withdraw his troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, end support for Israel, stop intervening in the affairs of Muslims and free Muslim prisoners.

Obama's reaction is still unknown. But hmm, might not sound bad to him

RNC Spokesman Stumped When Asked For Examples Of Voter Fraud

As if you needed any more evidence that the Republican effort to tout voter fraud is less about legitimate claims and more about a political agenda, consider this sequence of events:

Last week, as we noted at the time, the New Mexico GOP had publicly claimed that 28 people voted fraudulently in the Democratic primary, held in June, for a local race.
