AlQaida thug sets peace conditions with US Obama reaction

Al-Qaida's American-born spokesman has repeated the terror group's conditions for peace with America, calling on President Barack Obama to withdraw his troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, end support for Israel, stop intervening in the affairs of Muslims and free Muslim prisoners.

Bomb disposal expert due to be sent to Afghanistan is quizzed

Nicholas Fabian, 32, an Army bomb disposal expert who is reportedly due to be posted to Afghanistan, was held after wife Victoria, also 32, suffered serious leg injuries in the blast in a communal car park in the village of Vigo, near Meopham, Kent, just after 1pm yesterday.

Al Qaeda claims responsibility for CIA attack CNNcom

Al Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing in Afghanistan last month that killed seven CIA employees and contractors and a Jordanian military officer, according to a statement posted on Islamist Web sites.
