The rechargeable AirPlay speaker from iHome, the iW1 will be arriving in retailers and available through iHome starting September 26th. The long-anticipated system uses Airplay and either direct-from-device or an iOS app to control multiple units throughout a space to stream music from a Mac or iOS device. A limited quantity was offered for sale on the company's website earlier today to customers who had signed up for availability notifications and were sold out in 45 minutes.......

Sonys Wearable 3D Home Theater Sits on Your Face

This fall, Sony will be releasing personal 3D home theater headgear for one viewer at a time. Called the HMZ-T1, it's your chance to finally quash your Geordi La Forge envy.
You connect the half-helmet, half-goggles contraption to its own gaming console-sized processor, which in turn attaches to your Blu-Ray player or gaming rig, and voila! The two 0.7-inch OLED screens�one for each eye

Calling the Core 3000 a mid-tower chassis would be technically correct, though at 17 inches tall by 19 inches deep by 8 inches wide, it's on the smaller side of the spectrum. This becomes apparent when building into the chassis---our test build was a little more difficult than normal due to the limited space inside. Our test bed's abnormally large heatsink made it damn near impossible to get the 8-pin power connector connected, though we could have mounted the heatsink afterwards, as the motherboard tray has a large CPU backplane cutout.
