Steve Blair, a Prescott city council member who also hosts a local radio talk show on KCYA AM 1490, was fired from his radio show Friday night. Blair's firing was in response to comments he made about a mural at the Miller Valley Elementary School in Prescott.

Rush Limbaugh took to his radio show today to claim that the Gulf oil spill is really no big deal because, "More oil is spilled every year in Africa, in Nigeria, than so far in the Gulf, so it's not unique.
It's not exceptional. It's not the largest...So yes, it's a disaster. It's not the worst of its kind." How much BP stock does Limbaugh own?

Senator Chuck Schumer, who hopes to be Majority Leader next year, went on a fanatic religious radio show hosted by Nachum Segal and blasted Obama for not being deferential enough to Israeli rightist Prime Minister Netanyahu. Well, at least Schumer isn't spying for any foreign powers and stepping over the treason line, the way Jane Harman did.
