The NRA to become the Only Ones with free speech rights

With the NRA's deal with House Democrats, exempting it from what the NRA itself described as "byzantine disclosure requirements" that have "the effect of intimidating speech," they've expressed their tacit approval of imposing such oppressive restrictions on everyone else.

And they have the audacity to portray themselves as "defenders of liberty."

Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) became defensive when asked about this, eventually arguing that the Chamber has a right to use taxpayer money in lobbying because of free speech rights.
