This watershed moment wasn't expected for another six years, but the recession has accelerated the timetable by putting millions of Americans out of work meaning they've stopped paying into the system.

Pants on Fire Sen Brown Lies About Stimulus Job Creation

Brown said the stimulus bill "didnt create one new job" and, when asked to clarify, he said it "hasnt created any new jobs." But three independent analysts plus the CBO find it saved between 1 and 2 million jobs.
